We exist to reverse the impact this has for wild fish. We do this by seeking to eliminate the threats they face in fresh and coastal waters. Our goal is sustainable populations of wild fish.

Wild fish populations are collapsing as their habitats are destroyed faster than anything else. Most of our rivers fail to reach ecological targets. Open net salmon farming is ravaging wild salmon and sea trout and all fish are threatened by abstraction, barriers, and pollution.
Protecting fresh and coastal waters for sustainable fish populations, improved biodiversity and less pollution.

Globally, fresh water species are declining faster than any other. Yet, legal targets for improvement continue to be missed.
Accounts for 40% of the diffuse pollution in English rivers and groundwaters. In fact, 16% of serious pollution incidents in England are attributed to the farming industry.
Today, around 700 million litres of water per day are from unsustainable abstraction.
Nearly a quarter of English rivers are at serious risk from unsustainable water abstraction. The average UK person using 150 litres of water a day.
By the year 2045, the UK’s total water supply is forecasted to drop 7% if current abstraction limits remain in place.
Support like yours allows our determined campaigning team to fight the destruction caused by open-net salmon farming, pollution and over-abstraction
